Nizhny Novgorod International Airport isasocially responsible company, which respects initsactivity theinterests ofitsemployees, andresidents ofthecity andregion. Hundreds thousands ofrubles areinvested annually insocial projects.

The airport contributes financial aid to the mini-football team consisting of the employees of the company. In the citys rating the airport team ranks 6th out of 44th possible. Every year the team takes part in all district, municipal and regional competitions and does not miss the games, conducted by the Mini-Football Federation.
However, the focus of social policy is to support the airport employees. The collective agreement, in effect at the enterprise, is aimed at increasing of motivation and creating of favorable conditions for stable social and economic development of the enterprise. The collective agreement provides for various, depending on seniority, benefits and compensations for employees. So, financial aid is allocated in connection with retirement, anniversaries, and birth of a child. Seniority pay is paid according to the years of service in civil aviation. Every year the employees and their children have an opportunity of health improvement at sanatoriums and health resorts.

Also much attention is given to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, who worked at Nizhny Novgorod Airport. By tradition, on the eve of the Victory Day the airport arranges for them celebrations with flower-laying ceremony to the Memorial of Glory and celebratory dinner.
